Couture Style With Killer Boots!

I have come across some brand new styles I have never thought in my life would look well together, especially with these boots. I don't wear these boots often only because I never knew how to style them. Having knee high boots, it's kind of hard pairing them with a pair of jeans or tights (Because they buckle at the top) or even with a skirt (Without looking "slutty"). I came across the 2009 issue of Nylon Magazine with Lindsay Lohan, and fell in love with a look similar to this one.

For a night out in the summer, this look would be daring and bold but well worth it!

Pairing these boots with a cute pair of shorts can make this look more wild! The style of these boots is that I can fold them as well, but I prefer them as high as I can get them. Pairing it with a cute top and a vest (Which is optional) you can complete this daring couture look.

And for those chilly nights, I added a baggy blazer type shirt just to add some pattern and color.

My makeup is very simple. In the summer I don't wear a lot of makeup especially on hot summer days because I would just sweat it all off. I do like the bold color lip and in this look I am wearing Lickable by MAC.

Remember, being bold is being beautiful and wearing these boots will be one bold move!

Where Did The Sun Go?

Hello again! Sorry I haven't been posting as many blogs as I would like to be posting right now, I am swamped at school. But now that school has calmed down again I can concentrate on my blog more! It is already June ( I don't know where all the time went) and summer is around the corner! The weather here in Vancouver is not cooperating with anyone right now, so it has been rainy/cloudy for a bit now. Today's outfit was appropriate for the weather outside and it still kept me warm.

I dis some shopping a few weeks ago to update my summer wardrobe and I picked this pretty cropped stripe blazer. I love it because I notice I have a lot of high wasted things in my closet and having a cropped blazer gives me a more flattering shape rather then wearing a long sweater.

Pastel colors are in this summer, so I paired this look with a coral pleated high wasted maxi skirt and a tank top underneath my blazer.

I got this choker necklace a few weeks ago and I love it for the summer! Gold goes with everything and I wear this necklace almost everyday.

My makeup I kept simple and added a bright red lip (MAC Russian Red). I love this look for the summer because its natural and wont really sweat off on those hot summer days.

Patterns For The Summer

I love patterns, but I sometimes have trouble matching them together. This outfit is new and I love it! It is so breathable and easy to wear out on a beautiful summer day!

I did some bargain shopping this past week and found some great summer outfits! Now I have a good summer wardrobe that I can mix up and actually look nice.

Stripes can go with almost anything, so i paired it with this coral polka dot one piece. This is a great outfit for a night out or even just for the day. Both pieces are super comfy and versatile.

This one piece is sleeveless and easy to move in. I find it hard to find one pieces that are either too long or not fitting the way I want them to fit. But this piece fits me perfectly and I find it so comfortable.

The back on this is so pretty. it opens up and shows a little back just for a little taste.

My mom and sister bought me this gorgeous studded gold bracelet.  I fell in love with this and now I wear it with everything!

My makeup I kept really natural with a pop of lip by Giorgio Armani 40. I recently got a new face powder by Korres. It is called the Mineral Foundation Finish Powder in Amber. I love this powder and it gives a little more coverage after I apply my foundation which I like and it is all natural.

Wardrobe:

Blazer: Macy's $35.00US
One Piece: Urban Planet $20.00CAD
Studded Bracelet: Forever21 $10.00CAD
Clutch: Forever21 $25.00CAD

I hope you enjoyed this look!

Makeup For Friday Night

My personal MUA <3
Hello my gorgeous ladies and gents! I am going to do a breakdown of my sisters makeup for her night out. The makeup that I did is inspired by Kim Kardashian (photo below), but tailored for a darker skin tone. Patty has a beautiful deeper skin shade (NC45) and I thought it would be fun to try this look on her. I hope you all enjoy. xoxo

Face:
I first primed Patty's face with Amazing Cosmetics Anti-Aging primer and then I put on the Maybelline Dream Liquid Mousse foundation and MAC's studio finish concealer in NC45. I set her face using Nars loose powder in Mountain and highlighted using Laura Mercier Mineral Illuminating powder in Starlight.

Eyes:
I used more golden tones than silver so that her lids wouldn't look ashy. I started out with Honesty on the lids and I blended Au Contraire and Shale on the outer corners. I took some Black Tied and Carbon and blended it in a v-shape towards the outer corners and lashline. Finally, I cut the crease using Brun and just blended that down towards the lids. All eye shadows are by MAC. I lined her lids with Loreal's Carbon Intense Lineur and used Stila's eyeliner in Stingray for the inner rims of her eyes. Lastly I applied Ardell 105 lashes (cut in half) on the outer corners of her eyes.

Brows:
I filled in her brows using MAC's brow pencil in spiked and used Naked Lunch eye shadow by MAC on the brow bone.

Lips:
This look was mainly about the bold lip color and for Patty's lips I used Lickable by MAC.

I think this look could work for anyone and it would be fun to put your own little twist to it. Thank you for reading :)

Friday Party Night

This whole weekend was a four day birthday celebration for my lovely Alyssa. We all went out to a bar and danced the night away, and I loved my outfit I put together. It was a little overdressed for the occasion, but come on it feels great to dress nice!

I finally wore this lace royal blue dress I bought a few months ago. It has been in my closet waiting to be worn and I finally did last night.

This dress is beautiful and I fell in love with it when I first saw it. It is so comfortable and I love the lace design it has. I paired it with some black nylons and my favorite black wedges.

I wore one of my rings and a matching earrings.

These wedges are a MUST HAVE! I can wear them all night and dance in them without my feet hurting and they look stylish.

Wardrobe:
Dress: H&M (Divided) $35.95CAD
Shoes: Le Chateau $49.99CAD
Black Nylons: Jacob $10.00CAD

Hope you guys had a fabulous Friday and enjoy the weekend!
