Summer Love

Summer is here and A-Line skirts are in! These are one of my favorite items to have in your wardrobe and very flattering for every body shape. You can easily style them for the day or night.

I got this velvet A-Line skirt from H&M. I love this skirt because I can wear it with anything and still me comfortable in the summer. If it gets cold I always put on some black tights to create a new look.

I paired this skirt with a collared shirt I just tied at the waist. I love the sleeves on this top and I don't see much of this style anymore so if you see some tops like this grab it right away!

Adding some ankle boots and some other accessories can can always complete your look and make it more you.

My makeup today was a little more than I usually put on. My liner is Urban Decay Liquid Black Liner and my lips are my new obsession Roseberry by Bobbi Brown

I hope you enjoy this cute summer look!

Spring L O V E

Spring weather is amazing right now. The sun is shining and all the spring clothes are coming out of the closest! I pulled out my shorts and put together this cute spring look but still kept it warm for those chilly days.

I love the spring time because you can get out and enjoy that missed sun and go play outside. Yes, I know how old I am but you are never to old to get an old bicycle or your pair of roller blades or in my case my scooter and go on a little adventurer.

My ride Charmander

Anyway, back to the clothes, today's look is something I put together for the chilly spring weather.

I love these high waisted shorts from American Apparel, they are so comfortable and easy to wear with anything. I paired it with my favorite shirt from Forever21 with some tights and ankle boots.

For some final pieces I added my hat from H&M and a gold necklace I got as a gift.

On my hands I'm wearing a cute heart watch I got as a gift and this ring bracelet from Aldo

My makeup was a cat eye look using Dior black liquid liner. I also added some black pencil at the corner of my eyes underneath to add more of a effect and I am starting to love this look. I used Blackout in the Naked2 pallet underneath my eyes. My lips are Lickable by MAC.

I hope you enjoyed this cute spring OOTD!

Product Review Love & Hate Relationship

I have gathered some new and old products for the past few months and decided to do a product review of some of the products I have been using. Some products are my favorite and some of them are not, but here we go!

Style Liquid Liner by Dior 094 (very black)

The one thing I like about this liquid liner is the brush shape. Everything else about this liner isn't worth the price. It dries out too fast and does not last on the eye a very long time even with primer. I do not like the consistency of the product and does not go on smoothly. This liner gets a thumbs down.

Blackout Dior 099 Mascara

This mascara is absolutely the worst mascara I have ever tried. This mascara is for voluminousness lashes and it does nothing but clump your lashes together. The product is too thick and you can see in the picture how much product is on the brush just from one pump. I have to wipe product off on a tissue in order to apply and that is just wasting your mascara. This mascara gets a thumbs down

Shimmer Star 002 Dior

This shimmer star is not that bad. I do prefer the Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick but the shimmer star is a few dollars cheaper but still gives that glow effect. It is very pigmented and comes in great colors. This gets a thumbs up!

Porefessional Benefit and Primer Potion Urban Decay Primer

These two primers are my favorite. I have tried a few different primers and these two have stood out the most to me. The Porefessional smooths out my face and gives me an airbrush look without applying any foundation. The Potion has never given me any crease to my eye shadow and I am still using the same bottle (it lasts a very long time when you use the right amount). These products get a thumbs up!

Shimmer Brick Bronze Bobbi Brown

This is my favorite product in my makeup kit. I love this shimmer brick and I love the amount of pigments it gives. It makes my face glow and I always get complements on my makeup when I wear this. I have has this for years and I still haven't bought a new one so it lasts a very long time. This defiantly gets a thumbs up

Revlon Color Stay and Revlon Nearly Naked Caramel

These two drug store foundations are my favorite. The color stay is amazing and gives me an airbrush look. The color is a little dark for me but blends really well. The nearly naked is great for everyday makeup and very light. These two foundations get a thumbs up

Ben Nye Banana Visage Powder

I use this is as setting powder and it does miracles. I naturally have oily skin and when I use this my face never goes oily and I don't ever need touch ups through out the day. It is hard to find but worth it. This gets a thumbs up!

I hope some of the products helped make your decision easier to try out or not!

Give Me More

Today was a day where I accomplished a lot. I have some great new looks that can easily be a great day to day outfits.

This look is all about those printed leggings. These are personally my favorite right now for the season and can add more to any outfit to spice it up. Always pair them with a plain colored shirt to balance the look out. I paired these amazing leggings from H&M with a light pink collared shirt from Jacob and a leather vest from H&M

With this outfit and the weather I wore my favorite ankle boots from Spring. Having a plain black pair of ankle boots are great for the Fall, Winter, and Spring season and can be worn with a lot of different things. My favorite thing about these shoes is the back side has black sequence to add a little more glam (which is always a plus).

Changing your shirt and accessories can make a similar outfit completely different. Just changing my shirt, adding a hat, and changing my shoes I have a brand new look with the same pair of leggings. This studded shirt is from Zara and my Hat is from H&M

These are my new favorite shoes in the world, my creepers. I got them as a gift for Christmas and I have been obsessed with them ever since. I wanted to plain black pair so I can wear them with everything and honestly I do wear them with everything!

So lets take a break from clothes and check out my makeup look I did for today.
My lips are Russian Red my MAC and a Dior Ultra Gloss 982 over top. My liner is the Dior silk wet liner in ultra black

Another look for you guys!
I don't usually wear skirts but I decided to style up this cute floral skirt from Forever21. It is still winter so wearing a skirt can sometimes be difficult. I wore this sequence sweater from Forever21 and a Fur vest over from H&M. Stylish but still warm.

Last but not least a cute little look for shorts! These high waisted shorts are from American Apparel. I paired it with a cropped stripped turtle neck that I got as a gift. I am really into cropped fitting shirts right now and they look amazing with a Maxi skirt as well.

Having a fitted cropped shirt can be more easy to pair with high waisted jeans or skirts and can complement your figure.

I hope you enjoyed some new looks I did. A lot of different styles put together in different ways. Just remember always experiment with what you have you can make many different outfits with just a few items.
Enjoy! <3

Last Beauty Shoot

I did a shoot last month and wanted to show the look I did working with the wonderful George Lawson. This shoot was very tasteful and I created this beautiful yet edgy smokey eye just using my Naked2 pallet by Urban Decay

With this look I created a "Cat Eye" smokey look without using liner and just using shadows. Starting in the inner eyes I used Verve and then in the middle I used Pistol then gradually faded it into Busted then Blackout. To create that extended cat eye look you just extend your shadow out past your outer eye and shape it to your desire. It is such a sexy yet tasteful and not too much.

Enjoy this beautiful look!

Little Things

It has been a very long time since I posted anything! Well I am finally here posting a new outfit. This outfit is mostly about how to take old clothes and turning them into something better. I always find old things like a pair of jeans or an old shirt and cut it up. I make something new and more of my style now then what it was before.

This outfit is a great example of taking the old and making something new out of it.

I took this old turtle neck sweater and cut it so now it's a cropped shirt I can easily wear with high waisted pants or skirts. I also took a pair of old jeans and made a new pair of cute shorts.

I added my faux fur vest and a hat to complete this look and to keep myself warm!

My makeup was a cat eye look with a bold red lip. My lips are Russian Red by MAC

I hope you enjoyed this look I put together!

Blackout

Daylight savings has come so the days to me have been going very long, bloody hell. I decided to do something a little different for this post so I decided to shoot some pictures at night! I did add an actual  jacket to this look because it's freezing out and I can't get away with it now.

First, this jacket. I got this last year at H&M for only $35CAD.  I love the green color and it goes with everything I wear. It also does an awesome job keeping me warm and still stylish at the same time.

This plaid shirt I surprisingly found at Walmart for $16CAD. I paired it with a vintage tank top and added a pair of my favorite high wasted shorts from American Eagle.

I love hats in the fall/winter. I got this beanie a few years back, but it does the job (keeping me warm)!

This season I noticed that dark purple/red lipstick is really coming back. I bought this MAC lipstick Cyber a few years ago and I can finally start wearing it.
Fall is all about layering and adding a faux fur collar can give that outfit a little extra. I got mine from H&M, they do have different ones now but I see that faux fur is coming into jackets and sweaters.

You gotta love the fall!

Sugar Skull Love

Finally Sunday is here. This week has gone by so fast, I can't even imagine how this year has gone by so quickly. The weather today was cloudy but on the chilly side so I did have to dress a bit warmer than planned. I am getting great use out of my new faux vest with the weather getting colder, I can still stay warm with my vest.

Today's outfit consists of my new faux fur vest from H&M for $39.95CAD, A plaid long sleeve shirt I have had for a few years now from The Gap for $25.00CAD (sale), my favorite black skinny jeans from American Eagle for $49.99CAD, and a round hat from H&M for $14.95.

I love layering for the fall. Especially having a simple shirt and jeans, adding a stylish vest adds more to your look and still can keep you warm without adding a big jacket.

I have this sugar skull necklace I found in my closet a few days ago and I'm starting to wear it again. I bought it a few years ago and don't remember where I got it from. I always find new things in my closet and start to make use of them when I didn't before. Just like how I found this gorgeous necklace in my closet and making better use of it now.

Another great fall trend I am seeing right now is dark red/maroon lips. I made this color with mixing my Cyber (Dark Purple) lipstick by MAC and a bright red to get this color. I love this color and adds a great pop of color to your look.

Hope you enjoy this look!
