Romp It Up!

This Saturday it was a beautiful hot sunny day. I wanted to put on my favorite romper and prance around town in them. I love rompers, and this one especially. It cinches at the waist and shows my figure in all the right ways which I love and it is so comfortable!

I love the design of this romper and I can wear it all year round just by adding some tights and a cute jacket.

You can pair it up with any pair of shoes, Heels, boots, flats, sandals, anything!

I paired this outfit with a Betsey Johnson bracelet I got for Christmas last year. I love the design of this bracelet and all the cute designs on it.

I paired this outfit with my favorite pair of summer wedges. A pair of cute brown shoes can go with anything and great for summer. (Don't mind my doggy in the background, he likes to take pictures.)

Wardrobe:

Romper: Off The Wall (O'Neill) $25.00CAD
Bracelet: Betsey Johnson (Christmas Gift)
Shoes: Nine West Seattle Premium Outlets $25.99US

Casual Friday

This Friday was extremely hot. I did not feel like dressing up or putting any makeup on, it was just too hot. I put on my overalls that I have had for over 5 years and a plain T. I see that they are coming back into style and I'm so glad so now I won't look like a little kid.

You can definitively make this outfit more style with a cute shirt and a pair of heels or boots. I did some yard work so I wanted to keep it really casual.

I paired this outfit with some old converse to be comfortable in for some yard work :)

Wardrobe:

Overalls: American Eagle $30.00CAD
T shirt: American Apparel $25.00CAD
Shoes: Converse Sterling Shoes $45.00CAD

Hope you enjoy this look!

Thursday Shopping Day OOTD

Today I went to the mall and was disappointed in the summer selection at the stores. All the stores that I go to regularly, didn't have anything I liked so nothing new for me :( I did though, wear a killer outfit that I actually loved after I put it on.

I found this old button up silk shirt in my closest and decided to start wearing it again. It actually goes with a lot of different things and I can make some new outfits with this cute shirt!

I paired it with my maxi skirt and some boots to complete this look and to go with the sunny weather.

I thought this outfit needed some love, so I added this old heart choke necklace that I never really wore but decided to give it a try.
Finding things that you haven't worn in a while is a great thing because you can make some new outfits without spending money! I call it shopping in your closet, you guys should try it out, you never know what you will find.

My makeup was something I don't do on the regular basis. I did a bit of a smokey eye with a nude lipstick, something a little different for me. I used a blue shadow called Deep Truth by MAC underneath and on my lid for a smokey effect and Goldbit by MAC as a highlighter. My lips are Polished up by MAC as well. For darker skin I found this lipstick color the best for me as a nude, its not to light and not to dark.

Wardrobe:

Shirt: Jacob Clothing: $15.00CAD (on sale)
Skirt: Forever21 $24.00CAD
Boots: Aldo $49.00CAD
Necklace: Vintage

I hope you enjoy this look!

Plaid is my best friend

Happy Victoria day everyone! My Monday was spent driving around and singing "Someone like you" by Adele in the car with my good friends and my dad. I wanted to show an outfit for those summer days when the weather isn't very nice and you have nothing to wear that can keep you warm. What I do, is organize my closet for each season so it is easier to pick out outfits. I do keep some items that I can wear all year round, but mostly all my summer clothes are out. This outfit is just pieces that I have all year round that can be worn separately or together.

I call this look a "Hipster Boy" look. I love dressing like this when I feel like being comfortable and don't want to put a lot of effort in what I am wearing, but still be stylish.

When it is a little colder out I just added my faux fur collar for a little more warmth and style. (I love that thing)

My makeup was very easy to do. All I did for my eyes was take a black eye pencil ( I used Maybelline Line Express) and smudged it all over my lid. Just set it with some black powder and add some mascara and you have a great sexy smokey eye for the day. My lips are Tulle by Bobby Brown

 Wardrobe:

Plaid vest: Vintage
Black long sleeve shirt: Gap $15.00CAD
Black Jeans: American Eagle $49.99CAD
Shoes: Spring $24.99CAD
Faux Fur Collar: H&M $15.95CAD

Hope you guys had a great long weekend!
Enjoy

Good Girl Gone Bad

Friday night is coming very close, only a few hours away. I wanted to do something a little different today, so I decided to do a "grunge" look. These kind of looks are personally my favorite and you can be stylish at the same time.

This look is great for those cold summer days when you still want to wear shorts and a light cropped shirt, you actually can! With this look I paired it with a leather jacket, tights, and a pair of killer studded heals.

This outfit can be changed in so many ways and you can even pair these with some boots for more of a comfortable look.

My makeup was a little different then what I do usually. For my eyes I did a simple smokey eye using MAC Black Gold, Twinks, Texture (as a base), and Retro Speck (as my highlight). My lips are this gorgeous purple also by MAC called Cyber

Wardrobe:
Leather Jacket: H$M $30.00CAD (on sale)
Shirt: PacSun $25.00US
Shorts: American Eagle $25.00CAD
Tights: BeBe $10.00CAD
Shoes: The Bay (Material Girl) $45.99CAD

Everyone has that "Bad Girl" that wants to come out. Using your style to your advantage you can have that inner "Bad Girl" show through just a little ;)

I hope you enjoy this look!

Sunshine OOTD

Today was a great day! My Sunday was amazing and I think my mom had a great mother's day. There was a great message at church not just about mothers but to women in general.
"She is...
She is of infinite value and worth,
She is beautiful in all ways that truly matter,
She is full of hope and dreams of a bright future,
She is resilient, courageous and brave,
She is a teacher, a mentor and friend
She is generous, gracious and she loves beyond reason,
She is a woman and she is enough."

I hope everyone can take that message and tell all women they are worth it and amazing (Because come on, we are awesome)!

Now time to talk about my outfit. Today was a very hot day and I wanted to dress a little cool yet appropriate for church.

I love rompers and they are so easy to style. This one is a little short so I wore some thin black tights underneath and paired it with a comfy wedge shoe. I have a few rompers, and they are a great items to have in your closet!

My makeup was simple (Because it was so hot out, I didn't want to wear that much). I kept it natural with mascara and a red lip by Giorgio Armani 40

Just a little tip I found out, with hair. If you have a more circular face (like me), parting your hair in the middle can make your face appear longer and less round. I love parting my hair in the middle, it just makes it easier and is out of your face better than parting your hair to the side.

Wardrobe:
Romper: Forever21 $25.00CAD
Black tights: Jacob $10.00CAD
Wedges: Aldo $35.00CAD

I hope you enjoyed this OOTD!

Summer is here!

I have been swamped this week and have had no time for a blog post, sorry! Well today is a gorgeous day out and going to be beautiful and sunny all week. Yesterday I spent my day at the beach trying to get my body all the same color, but I still have to work on that. I had the time today to put together this pretty summer look adding floral prints with some hints of green and brown. I am starting to put some jewelry with my outfits, so tell me what you think about that!

This outfit I put together is very comfortable and easy to wear on the go. All these fabrics are light and breathable so on those unexpected hot days, this outfit wont let you down!

I personally don't have a lot of summer clothing. My favorite season is fall/winter so my closet is manly filled with warmer styles. This summer I will be mostly wearing maxi dress's and maxi skirts with tank tops or t-shirts. But once in a while it is nice to put on some pants or shorts. So it is handy to have a few pairs of different patterned shorts/pants for the summer. You can easily change up your outfit with a bunch of different looks with just a few pieces. As for makeup, for the summer I really don't like to pound on the makeup. I usually wear a little foundation, concealer, mascara, a little blush, and sunscreen! I like to keep my makeup really natural in the summer because I will practically sweat it off throughout the day.

Jewelry
I love these brown/golden tones that these pieces have, and it went perfect with my outfit. A lot of my clothes would match these bangles and it is great to have a pair like that, so it can go with different outfits. My earrings are from Forever21 $6.00CAD and my Bangles are from BeBe $25.00CAD

Wardrobe:

Shirt: Forever21 $12.00 CAD
Shorts: Aritzia $50.00 CAD
Wedges: Nine West Seattle Premium Outlets $25.99 US
Hat: BeBe $10.00 CAD (on Sale)
Sunglasses: Forever21 $9.95 CAD

I hope this helps for the summer coming up!
Enjoy,
and have a Happy Mothers Day!

Peaceful Sunday

This past week was a very busy week for me. I had two final exams and my stress level was through the roof. Today I needed some relaxation time and caught up on some reading on this gorgeous day. One of my dogs decided to keep me company since he hurt his leg playing in the dog park the other day.

I might as well introduce my dog, his name is Tidus. He is turning 10 on June 24 and I love him so much. He has been through everything with me and my best friend. He is half Golden Retriever and half White German Shepard. But back to what this blog is really about, me showing my looks!

Today's outfit was about earthy tones, different shades of brown. These pants are so comfy and really baggy (which I love) and I can move around in them a lot. I paired it with a half sleeve shirt, a belt, and some wedges and there you go!

I woke up early today so I didn't really feel like going all out with my makeup today. I just put some mascara on and a red/pink lip 40 by Giorgio Armani.

Wardrobe:

Shirt: Forever21 $14.00 CAD
Pants: Forever21 $24.00 CAD
Belt: Off a pair of H&M pants
Shoes: Aldo $35.00 CAD

I hope you enjoy your Sunday!

Shopping Day

Yesterday I went to the mall for some long time therapy. Unfortunately, the summer selection out right now at the stores is not my favorite season for shopping. I ended up finding two items to add to my closet for the summer coming up.

For a long time I wanted a corset top but I could never find one that would fit "My Girls". I went into a store called Garage and found this stretchy cropped top that actually fits me. They have so many different patterns and I picked this floral one which was my favorite for only $12.50 CAD

The top is made of 95% Cotton and 5% Spandex. The girl at the store told me that these tops do stretch out a lot so it is a good idea to buy one size smaller.

I found this style of a maxi skirt at Forever21 for $24.99 CAD. It is shorter in the front and longer in the back as that is the new style coming in right now. I love the color and the pleat design on this skirt and I can match it with a lot of different shirts.

I hope you enjoy these new finds!

Bar Hopping OOTD

My Friday was a nice night out with my friends. One of my best and closest friends is starting her first day of College on Monday and I am so happy for her. So, we wanted to have a night out for her and celebrate her last weekend of freedom. The weather was cloudy and a little cold, I was crazy not to bring a jacket but it wasn't bad. My outfit I chose was on the dressy side, but my style is always on the dressy side... and I love it!

My makeup was a simple cat eye with Vex eye shadow by MAC. My blush is Dolce Vita by Nars and my lipstick is my favorite pink color for my skin tone, Lickable by MAC

It took me a long time to find a new maxi skirt. In the end, I ended up buying those new styles of short in the front and longer in the back kind of skirts. American Apparel has some great maxi skirts but my budget didn't match their's. I ended up buying this skirt from Forever21 for $24.99 CAD. I love the color and the pleat's add a nice design and flow to the skirt.

My jewelry was simple with a little bit of "bling". These earrings and ring are my favorite items I have in my jewelry box. My earrings are from Forever21 for $9.50 CAD and my ring is from Aldo for $15.00 CAD.

My feet didn't hurt all night (Probably because I was sitting most of the night). But, these shoes are still comfortable yet stylish. I bought these from a Nine West outlet at Seattle Premium Outlets for $25.99 US. For a deal like that I couldn't resist.

I hope you enjoy this look!

I l o v e Shoes

My heart skips a beat when I see those beautiful pair of shoes, that's when I know I have to have them. I love shoes and my shoe collection is getting bigger and bigger every time I go shopping. Having a good selection of shoes makes getting dressed a lot easier and can change up your outfit from day to night. These are some of my favorite shoes I have and wear a lot.

These shoes I bought from The Bay on sale for $45.99 CAD from Material Girl. I love the detail of these shoes and they are really comfortable to wear. Material Girl is one of my favorite lines at The Bay and these shoes show how much I love them!

I love the floral print on these shoes. I bought these from Forever21 for $15.00 CAD. These shoes can go with almost every outfit from skirts to pants. They are a bit high, but all you need is some practice and they feel like you are walking in flats. I always get complements wearing these shoes and I always see different prints and styles of shoes at Forever21 all the time. They have an awesome shoe collection for a great price.

These shoes are the most comfortable I have. The high platform makes these shoes more stylish and easy to walk in. I bought these on sale from Le Chateau for $49.99. I love these shoes and can dance in them all night... literally all night long.

I love my TOMS. I have 2 pairs and I think I need to replace them because I wear them too much. As you can see in the picture they are so worn out. TOMS can go with any outfit and at Nordstrom you can get them for $35.00 US.

Ankle boots are my favorite. These boots are amazing and go with any look I want. I got these from Aldo for $49.00 CAD. I really like the "grunge" look and these boots always go well when I feel like looking a little sluggish.

I hope you enjoyed some of my shoes!
