Get Lucky

Today's look is for those chilly cloudy spring days. I brought out my black maxi skirt for those kind of days for this look. 

I paired my maxi skirt with a cropped tight fitting long sleeve shirt I picked up in the states for $5. I don't remember the name of the store but shirts like this are getting easier to find and look great with anything high waisted. 

I added my faux fur collar and some jewelry to finish this look. 

High collared shirts are in right now and this shirt is kind of a half turtle neck look. I am seeing a lot of this style in right now and especially on cropped shirts. They are also very flattering and can extenuate your waist.

Suit and Tie

Vintage finds. Today's outfit is about those special finds you find at your local thrift stores. 

The first item I picked up at my local Value Village was this beautiful patterned blazer. I love the gold trimming and the way it fits. The colours are amazing and I can always spice up an outfit adding this piece. 

I also picked up this old style Suit and Tie T-shirt from Talize for $3! I love this simple T-shirt and I can wear this with everything. 

The shirt is baggy on me so I just tied it to the side with a headband. Adding a pair of high waisted shorts and my fur collar completed this look.

Spring Fling

One way to style a Maxi dress. 

This is today's post. I love Maxi dresses and there are so many different ways to style them. They can be easily layered to make multiple outfits and you can get great use out of them! 

I have a plain floral maxi dress from H&M that I styled with a simple jean shirt from H&M as well. I buttoned my shirt about half way then tied it at the waist. 

I paired this outfit with some ankle boots and a hat to complete this look. 

I did add my fur collar to complete the look or you can just wear it like this if it's not that cold out. I love this outfit and it is super comfortable to wear all day out.
